Art Array Showcase | The Taoyuan Guardian Deities Alliance: the Next Level of Crossover Mythological Theatre!

Following the rave reviews of the 2024 Art Array Showcase, the 2025 edition will make a stunning impact with the debut of its brand-new production, “The Taoyuan Guardian Deities Alliance”! Centered on the folk religions in Taiwan, this performance fuses performing arts, pop music, EDM and dance, acrobatics, and traditional Din Tao (parade array). The familiar guardian deities from popular folk culture are reinterpreted, giving birth to a cross-genre mythological theatre that artfully blends rich cultural heritage with electrifying entertainment.

Day 1—Taoyuan Unveiled
Introducing the Four Great Guardian Deities: Health, Love, Academics, and Omnipotence.
The Altar Opening Ceremony commences, as Divine Generals appear one by one, leading the audience into the prologue of a mythological universe.

Day 2—Taoyuan Resonating
The themes expand to include: Youth Development, Prayers for Wealth, Blessings of the Earth, Peaceful Living, and the Theatrical Invocation of Zhurong.
Through local art array troupes and a dramatic finale for a perfect curtain call in unity, the event showcases the convergence and extension of the power from collective faith.
Local and professional teams are cherrypicked for the event, coupled with folk arts, audio/visual technology and AI visuals, to present an immersive stage where myth and reality intertwine. The “Bridge Crossing for Renewal” ritual is especially designed to invite the audience to participate in person—leaving behind misfortune and embracing a new life ahead! From laser projections to Divine General installations, everything is meticulously choreographed, for you to not just watch a show but also become part of the story!

Take Taoyuan Airport Metro to A17 Linghang Station; exit from Exit 1 and walk westward for three minutes and there you are.

By Bus:

1. Take Bus 707A, 302, or 206 to A17 Linghang Station

2. take Bus 208, 208A, 707A, 302, or 5089 and get off at Dacheng-Dazhi Road Intersection Stop.

By THSR:

1. After exit from THSR Taoyuan Station, transfer to Taoyuan Airport Metro to A17 Linghang Station

2. After exit from THSR Taoyuan Station, take Bus 206A, 302, or 707A to A17 Linghang Station

3. After exit from THSR Taoyuan Station, transfer to Bus 208, 208A, 302, 707A, or 5089 to Dacheng-Dazhi Road Intersection Stop

By Car:

Exit from the Exit 4 - Dazhu (bound for Qingpu) of the National Highway No. 2; keep left along Naqing Road (Provincial Highway No. 31), turn right to Section 4, Linghang N Road, and there you are.
