Taoyuan Dragon-Lion Dance Invitational features two categories: the “Freestyle Southern Lion Dance” and the “Luminous Dragon Dance.” In the Freestyle Southern Lion Dance, spectators will witness the graceful expressions and agile movements of lions performing on poles. The Luminous Dragon Dance, set against the night sky and accompanied by powerful, majestic drumming, will present giant fluorescent dragons coiling and weaving in a stunning audio-visual spectacle!
Elite teams from countries (and regions) such as Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the USA, as well as top domestic troupes, shall be invited to compete on the same stage. A total of 10 teams are expected to participate, with an estimated 80 international athletes. You are cordially invited to come and witness this world-class, spectacular dragon-lion dance competition that one cannot miss!
